Walking Meditation

Practice mindful walking - in nature or just in your living room. Find an appropriate path for at least 10 steps. Recommendations: Wear weather appropriate clothing, comfortable shoes if outside and have water on hand.

Yoga is an inclusive practice: whether you are a beginner, a longtime practitioner or someone with physical limitations, there is always something you can do! Knowing how to meet your students where they are using your language, presence and postures will suit the needs of all of your students and is an essential component of being a compassionate, trustworthy and respected yoga teacher. In this workshop you will identify the intent of a pose or practice and learn how to adapt it to meet the needs of your students who are injured, inflexible, aging or differently abled so that everyone in the room is included.
